My 5 Make-up Must Haves

Every girl has those items in their make-up bag that they just can’t be without! The go to items that never let you down, we might stray away from them and try something new but they always seem to creep back in again!

I have tried a lot of brands and varieties of products and wanted to share with you what my go to products are right now.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – EDEN

I have been using this primer for quite a few years and I absolutely love it! It’s a light nude colour which blends into the eyelid easily and doesn’t feel heavy at all. The matte finish gives the perfect base to apply any eyeshadow, cream or powder and it can be worn alone for a flawless nude look. This primer really brings out the pigment in any eyeshadow so helps you use less product! Bonus! I can’t be without this one!

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder – 003 Peach

I never used to wear powder with my foundation, and then I discovered this! At just £3.99 it’s an absolute bargain. I have only ever used this over my current foundation which is Max-Factor but it gives the perfect finish. It leaves my skin looking really smooth and even and helps me achieve the full coverage finish that I like. I really recommend giving this a try, and at £3.99 what’s to loose?!

Benefit Browzings

This has been my go to brow product since working for Benefit. I wear quite a dark shade as I’m not a natural blonde but it is available in 5 different shades. It comes with a wax and a powder, the wax pushes your brows into shape and the powder sets it into place. It’s long wearing and the product itself lasts months! It will however become redundant soon as I am booked in to have my brows tattooed! Come back soon as I will feature this as a blog post.

Makeup Revolution Iconic Eyeshadow Pallets

Makeup revolution is a fairly new brand to me. My friend featured one of the pallets in her blog and I just had to give it a go! I now have the iconic 2 and the iconic smokey pallets and absolutely LOVE them! They are practically an exact dupe of the Naked pallets but a smidge of the price! The colour pigment is amazing and they are as long wearing as the full price version (using a primer). I now wear these everyday and am extremely impressed.

ZOEVA Brush Sets – En Taupe & Vegan Face Set

I know this isn’t a make-up product but these play a massive part in the finish of my make-up and I would not be without them. The En Taupe set is made up of 6 eye brushes which vary between shadow, brow and liner. The vegan face set is also made up of 6 brushes for foundation, concealer, powder and blusher. The quality of the brushes is incredible and well worth the money. A good brush really does make a difference.

Big fan of the make-up revolution palettes too! Half the price of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. I always get comments about my choice of eyeshadow from people at work! I have the one with muted shades of pink and purple which matches my green eyes! Good pick Lady like Laura! 😉💋

Some great products, the palette looks beautiful and I might try the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder especially for that price. My current must-have is from the brand Seventeen, there mega matte lipstick in Back To The Fuschia shade is beautiful.
